The reason why I picked this is because it shows the strength in my writing, my creativity, and my artist skills. I spent a lot of time on the project and I put a lot of effort and into it. I also really liked the unit itself because it was about the ozone layer and what can help/harm it. I am very passionate about that subject because it interests me on the surroundings of planet earth and what can affect it, good or bad. This project also showcases how I have improved and grown in my chemistry projects over this past year. For the project we were supposed to teach kindergarteners about the ozone and give them an understanding that's easy to follow and keep them interested. But at the end of the project we found out that we were not going to teach kindergarteners, and that the whole point of the project was to give us a better understanding of the basics and the specifics.

I put this piece in my portfolio because I liked the result of the project. This was an unusual project because it involved working with a group and using our talents to our best ability. The overall project took about 2 weeks to complete and took a lot of effort along with blood, sweat and tears. I liked this project becasue I never did anything like it before. I was able to use my artistic skills along with my use of photography and computers. I was able to become the leader of the group and take charge of all the drawings which I love to do. I am proud of this project because our group got a good grade on it and it showcased my creativety.
I am very proud of this piece of work for many reasons. This is one of the longest pieces that I have ever written and one of the most complex pieces as well. I spent a lot of time drafting and editing and going before and after school to make this essay the best it could be. In this essay we had to compare two different rulers and their tactics to rule. I liked that unit becasue it shows how people handle things under severe pressure. It also shows me what kind of rulers can exist and do exist today. I got good grades on all of the outcomes and that really made me proud and made me think that this piece belongs in my portfolio.
Year End Reflection:
The pieces that I chose to put into my portfolio represent me as a person because it shows my strengths and how I grew as a student from 9th grade to 10th grade. I put a lot more effort, not just into these pieces, but also in all of my work over the year. Last reflection I mentioned that I would like to include a longer story to show my writing strength and how to convey information while keep an audience interested. This year was an interesting experience and gave me a look into the future and what is expected of me as a student.
