A Student Transformed

As my high school career is coming to an end, I can look back and say that I have become the person I was meant to be. From a struggling freshman, not sure where I fit in, to a future college student ready for the next chapter in his life. College used to be a overwhelming, idea that I put off because of fear. But as it approaces, I can proudly say that I am looking forward to spending the next four years of my life in a whole new place. Frank McCourt high school has molded me into the student that I need to be. I have improved ten fold and Im still improving. I have become a writer that is up for any challange because I have learned so much from all of my writing classes.
Not only had frank McCourt improved my academic skills, but it has made me more interested about learning. Before I came into this school, I was uniterested in learning about things that I dont understand because I thought that they were useless subjects that I would never use again in my life. But now I want to learn about new things. With the help and support that this school provided, I am able to find the best in things that I never wanted to know before.
Although I have made my fair share of mistakes, I was able to mature from those things and learn how to handle them. In my sophomore year I failed ISM 10 and payed the price for it. I never was going to let that happen again. I learned that everything I dont do, or everything that I dont do right had a consequence. Thats a tool tool that I will have for the rest if my life. Things we learn now will impact the way we see things in the future. So it looks like my future is pretty bright.
